March 18th 2011 - Champagne diamonds have for a long time been a favourite of mine. In the modern diamond market there is now a wide range of treated coloured diamonds. Most Champagne diamonds however, like this one, are naturally coloured and come from Rio Tinto’s Argyle mine.

February 6th 2011 - Many things in our life are designed for certain types of usage. Jewellery is similar in a way. A design that might be suitable as a dress ring may not be practical to wear every day. This was certainly the case with a ring that was brought to me a couple of years ago.

January 21st 2011 - The unwanted jewellery for this job was mostly 18ct yellow gold but had some white gold links in the chain, gemstones and catch springs that needed to be removed and returned to the customer.
