A moment at Millstream
November 2022
For quite a few years I was obsessed with trying to get a grand photo of Australia’s widest waterfall Millstream Falls. In the end I gave up and settled for images of that rock wall which I find far more interesting.
Don’t get me wrong, I still love the site of the falls in full flow after rain but I think the slower water and revealed rock face are so much prettier.
So it is those more peaceful times that I am drawn to make the journey to the base of the falls to take in the beauty of that location.
On this visit in November 2022 I was reminded how popular Millstream is when I discovered a crashed drone at the base of the falls. The memory card and battery still in tact I am certain I was the first to discover it. If you lost a drone let me know.
After a brief inspection of the drone I got back to photographing that rock wall. The water flow is never exactly the same creating different images for me on every visit.
Being a creature of habit I had my coffee break at the base of this tree before making my way along the river to another of my favourite locations …….but that is for another post.
