His ring - 14ct yellow gold with 950 Platinum centre.
I finished these two wedding rings just before I went away to do some design and quoting mixed with a bit of travel. Her wedding ring was created in 950 Platinum to match her engagement ring. The size of the diamonds and setting style are the same as those set into her engagement ring band.

To connect the his ring to hers he wanted to include the materials used in her ring in his despite wanting a yellow gold ring. To achieve that we created the outside of the ring in 14ct yellow gold and hammer set a single princess cut diamond into the centre strip of Platinum.

This week something a little different from my “old” part of the world. I was born in Adelaide and moved with my family to Queensland at about the age of 12. As a child in South Australia our family would often spend holidays on the Yorke Peninsula.
During the last couple of weeks working on the road I took the opportunity to show my wife around Yorke Peninsula. Often when she is with me something special happens and it certainly did the morning of that photo.
At sunrise directly in front of the beach house we were staying at, dolphins were feeding about 10 feet from the shore in the morning sunlight.
I am back in Cairns now with meetings booked this Saturday and approved designs to make over the coming weeks. Have a great weekend.
