The last piece to come from the bench in 2020 is a version 2 of a ring I made back in 2012. The remake was due to the ring being lost in a fishing accident up in Weipa. This original is somewhere in the ocean with the crocs :(
It was made in 9ct yellow and white gold, 9.5mm wide and a size Z+1. This style of ring is a classic example of a ring that cannot be effectively resized outside a small range up in size.

Kool Moon Motel in Ravenshoe.
I started holidays last week other than to come in for some deliveries to out of town customers like today. The last couple of days I have been showing my family the Ravenshoe district that I spend most free weekends roaming.
When I am in the area overnight and not camping I stay with Elaine and Trevor at Kool Moon Motel which I highly recommend. Make sure you book as they are often full.

Mornings you will often see large numbers of Rainbow Lorikeets that feed outside the rooms. Unlike cockatoos they are not very noisy. Extremely beautiful birds.
