Dragon Falls - Barron Gorge

Late May 2022.
This waterfall is located high up on the side of Barron Gorge. It runs all year round and the picture above was taken towards the end of the waterfall season late May 2022.
Early May 2022.
This photo was taken just weeks before the previous and you can see how much stronger the water flow was earlier in the waterfall season. The flow gets stronger than above but this level is my favourite.
The falls are home to Eastern Water Dragons that are very comfortable around me. They will even stay in the water as you enter to cool off. Very cute little reptile.
February 2023.
On a rainy day like above I could think of no better place to spend time than in front of this waterfall. It was at this waterfall that I sat to read my customers book that I mentioned in another post here.
October 2022.
All year round there is clear running water at the base that you can cool off in. During the dry the waterfall nearly disappears and the pool gets quite shallow. That said even during the wet it is not really a swimming spot.
September 2022.
Wet or dry season these falls are one of my favourite spots to just go sit and chill. A location I am guaranteed to get peace and quiet :)
