Getting some photos off the camera.
Life has been so full on of late I have not been able to get out much nor take the photos off of my camera when I do. This is a photo deep in Barron Gorge with my son on his recent visit home from Uni in Brisbane.
When I walked with him through the Gorge there was very little wind. This allowed for beautiful reflections on the water of partially submerged rocks and the green foliage of the banks of the Gorge.
As you walk in the Gorge you are treated to a great variety of colours in the rocks. This section of rock can be found very close to the Power Station bridge.
Back deep in the Gorge and this is a very small section of a waterfall that I estimate is well over a couple of hundred metres tall. It flows from the top fo the Gorge pretty much straight down into the base.
This photo was taken a year or so ago that shows on a larger scale the Gorge when it is calm. Later in the day when they let the water out the river looks more like below and the white water lovers come out to play.
