Wooroonooran National Park
Wooroonooran (black rock) National Park is a massive 798 km². I often find myself walking through parts of it amazed by what nature can create. I often swim beneath this tree in total solitude.
I first starting spend a lot of time in this area at the end of 2018. There was heavy rain at the time that continued well into 2019. May of the photos taken below are from that period when the water was running. Now it has slowed to a trickle creating a different type of beauty with the reflections on the water.
With the water so calm you now not only look at the rivers but into them. The water is amazingly clear and a joy to swim in as summer has well and truly arrived.
