This is a proposal ring.  Looks like a classic 6 claw solitaire from the top. Turn it over and you have his and her initials in the shoulders of the ring.  The couple are from the UK and are on a working holiday.  The Australian Champagne diamonds are a connection to the place of the proposal.

After speaking to the customer about the pros and cons of white gold he decided to go with Palladium Sterling silver.  As this is a proposal ring she can change it to white gold later.  Hope she likes it, he certainly put some thought into the ring.
