A bit of normality

I have used tapered baguettes as shoulder diamonds in a trilogy ring like this before but never with an oval diamond as the centre feature. The main diamond is .70 carats in weight and the two shoulder diamonds come to a total weight of .20 carats.
In a trellis style ring the band sweeps up and crosses over to form the claws that make the setting. This ring was created in 18ct Palladium white gold.
The advantage of this style is that the side is open allowing the diamond to be viewed but still be very secure and not too high off the finger. The trellis can also be set up so that a straight wedding ring can sit better next to the engagement ring.
From My World this week the Dinosaur footprints at Granite Gorge which I recently visited with my wife. A great place not too far from Cairns if you are looking for something to do on a weekend or visiting.
