My plans and a big thankyou.
Over the last 3 weeks I have seen and expected requests for commissioned pieces to reduce almost to none as the Coronavirus issue has escalated. That has eventuated as people rightly focus on issues more important than jewellery.
Making pieces for fun
Until we can all get back to some sort of normality I intend to make pieces that will be more the style of jewellery I enjoy making the most. I might also try some things just for the challenge. I want to escape a bit from the reality of what is going on in the world by making jewellery.
I will share photos of some of the pieces with you but they are not intended for sale and like the ring above will be pulled apart and melted down once finished and photographed. I am just going to make them for pleasure, to pass the time and as always try to learn.
The above ring features a half carat main diamond and is made in 18ct Palladium white gold.
The big thank you
Despite many of my customers with current pieces having to cancel weddings and engagements and uncertain work futures, they have all contacted me to finalise paying for their finished pieces. I am truly grateful for their thoughtfulness despite many having an uncertain income stream themselves looking forward. Thank you so much.
If you have any questions or want to bounce some ideas around for a piece to be made once we get some sort of normality back feel free to contact me. In the meantime I look forward to sharing some pieces with you made just for fun to pass the time. Take care!
