More Tablelands Swamp

I have returned to this section of Tablelands Swamp a couple of times now and really falling in love with the location. This early morning photo is probably my favourite this year. Most that see this photo think it is a black and white but nature was black and white for that period of the morning.
The bright sections at the top of the photo and on the ground are the rising sun trying to pass through the extremely thick fog backlighting everything and creating silhouettes.
If you look closely at the centre of the photo to the left of the Egret you can see a flock of birds perched in the trees. They are Royal Spoonbill which I think is a very pretty bird.
For those are not sure what a Royal Spoonbill looks like above is a photo of one I took last year at Centenary Lakes in Cairns city.
Once the sun lifted and the fog started to fade, colour started to appear on the swamp. Really looking forward to exploring this place some more.
