Rome - Italy

We had a full day in Rome before we got on the Cruise.  If you ever want a handy hotel in Rome stay at the Windrose Hotel.  You catch the Leonardo train from the airport, 1st class ticket only for plenty of room for luggage, to the Termini station and then a short walk to the hotel. Cost was only about 14 euro each for the train.

Take some ear plugs if noise bothers you as the rooms are a bit noisy but the convenience offset all that for us. Staff are super helpful.

We walked easily from the Hotel to everything in these photos. We love Rome.
