There are now many copies of this ring available online that weigh much less being made extremely light. This customer wanted the ring made properly and the finished weight is nearly double that of lower quality rings.

The first one of these rings I made was back in 2008 and was a restoration of a poor quality ring that had broken. Now that I look back on that ring from 2008 I also notice that the cross shape (remade as it was) deviates a little from the original.
