Basically the process removes all the pressure of having to get the design and finger size correct for the proposal. We fix those if required when the ring is remade to the desired design and finger size after the proposal.

In this case the couple decided together to add some diamonds to the band and change the precious metal used from white gold to platinum. I quoted on all of these additional costs for the customer to approve or reject prior to them committing to the changes.

In most cases when the changes are to the finger size and/or minor changes to the design there is no cost for the remake, it is done free of charge. If the size is wrong I remake it free of charge to the correct finger size using the same design and materials.
