This gem belonged to a family relative. The making of the ring was initially given to another jeweller who wanted to recut the gem before setting for some reason. The customers said no and brought the gem to me to set into a design they had in mind.

Together we did make some small changes to the design requested to allow better for the wedding ring they desired.
