Something a little more straight forward.

The pendant the customer had received many years ago, purchased elsewhere.
The above pendant belongs to a very longtime customer. She received it from her now husband many years ago. I did not make it but I have cleaned it and done some very minor repair work to it over the years.
During those years it has been discussed to remake the pendant once it came to the end of its life.
The new pendant would be larger as shown to the right.
The existing pendant was not very well made and the diamonds were of quite low quality. The couple desired to have the it remade slightly larger using better quality diamonds.

During a regular checkup of some of the jewellery that I have made for these customers over the years I took measurements of the existing pendant so that I knew what needed to be done to accomodate her chain.
When the time came they emailed me to make the pendant and I knew exactly how it needed to be done..
The new pendant featuring half a carat of diamonds.
When we made the new pendant we used white gold for the front section and yellow gold for the back. The total diamond weight of the diamonds was half a carat.
The original pendant was made of all yellow gold. I am guessing when the pendant was purchased the front was rhodium plated and appeared white but had long worn off.
