Been on the road and a touch of Greece

24th February 2023 - Customer Location: Townsville

I missed posting last week because I was on the road visiting customers. This ring went to a customer in Townsville. Half a carat main gemstone with a total diamond weight of 1.34 carats. The ring was created in 18ct Palladium white gold.

Also whilst I was in Townsville I picked up this proposal ring. Now that the wedding is approaching and the wedding ring design finalised the ring will be remade.

With this proposal ring I need to fix some errors I made with the diamond spacing. At the same time I will also make some changes to the design that the customer has chosen and then others to accomodate the wedding ring better. I will post to the website about this ring after it is made.

In the last week I also added this 18ct gold and yellow diamond Meander and Macedonian Star pendant to the store. I have been working on this design on and off for the past couple of months. You can read more details about it in the shop section.

The meander to the ancient people of Greece was a symbol of infinity and the flow of human life by reproduction.

The Macedonian starburst was embossed on the gold larnax inside the burial tomb of Philip II of Macedon who was the father of Alexander the Great.

Speaking of great, have a great weekend.
