The incredible rise in the price of Rhodium

If you are reading this then I am going to assume you know why your white gold jewellery periodically needs to be rhodium plated.
Several years ago I started warning customer that the cost of Rhodium plating would have to increase but kept the price the same. That has to change.
350% increase in price in just 2 years

In 2019-2020 the price of Rhodium had already increased significantly but in the last two years it has sky rocketed.
Due to Rhodiums use in the automotive industry and other global issues the price of rhodium plating solutions has increased by 350% in 2 years. That little 250ml bottle is $3746 once you add on the GST.
I cannot put it off any longer

So sorry the price is going up and hopefully after reading this you will understand why. I buy rhodium solutions once a year so if we see some relief in price next year I will review the pricing then.
