A ring pendant :)
6th August 2021
The piece of jewellery above looks like a ring but it is actually a pendant. It might appear a normal size ring but it is tiny. The gem is a 3mm peridot which is the birthstone of the grandchild it marks the birth of.
The chain passes through the middle of the ring and the weight distribution in the design forces the gemstone to the top allowing the wearer to look down on the gemstone during wear.
The name, date and birth weight are engraved on the side of the band to face up as the pendant. I made this piece for a Japanese customer so the date format is in Japanese. The pendant was made in 18ct yellow gold.
From my world this week a small section of water that flows out of Behana Gorge into Wooroonooran National Park. Have a great weekend.
