Sort of normal life or perhaps the new normal?

After some deliberation on diamond size, quality and budget this couple decided to set a .75 carat GIA lab certified diamond into a trilogy trellis design.
The main diamond is F colour, Si1 clarity and a triple excellent grade for cut, polish and symmetry. The shoulder tapered baguette diamonds come to a total diamond weight of .21 carats.
This couple selected the diamond and refined the design together with me. The ring shown above is a proposal ring made in 18ct Palladium white gold. It will be worn for sometime to ensure the size is correct and resized if required.

Once the size is confirmed the ring will be remade to the perfect finger size in a 950 Platinum alloy and the diamonds swapped over. The proposal ring also allows the customers and myself to refine the design slightly before remaking it. There are a couple of changes to this ring already decided on that I will add to this post once implemented with the Platinum ring.

This week when I was out for a late jog after work I noticed it was a full moon. By the time I got home and went outside with my camera a shot of it rising over the horizon with an orange tinge was gone. I thought is was beautiful as it shone behind the clouds higher in the sky so took a photo anyway. Have a great week.
