Another year has flown by so time to once again thank my very loyal customers. To close the year I thought I would share with you the diversity of pieces that are leaving the work bench as 2018 draws to a close.

Weddings galore

I have a lot of wedding rings going out this Christmas as couples take advantage of family gatherings to marry. The wedding ring above I made this December for an engagement ring I created last December.

When I make an engagement ring I always plan for the wedding ring as much as I can. The reality is that most women desire a straight wedding ring and for that to be possible it must be allowed for in the design of the engagement ring.

For the other women who desire a fitted wedding ring one of the benefits of dealing with a professional like myself is that they can advise you of the pros and cons of that choice.

Palladium Sterling silver

During 2018 more and more of my customers that want a truly natural white colour precious metal ring have decided to go for Palladium Sterling silver. The replacement of almost all the copper in a traditional Sterling Silver alloy with Palladium results in a far more tarnish resistant naturally white precious metal at a cost far less than say Platinum.

For men and women that do not want the expense of Platinum or the care issues of having to re rhodium plate white gold to maintain its white appearance, Palladium Sterling silver is an attractive option.

Lots of Proposal rings

This Christmas/New Year I know that there are quite a few people who will be asked the big question.

So if you want to ask that question how do you make sure the design of an engagement ring is exactly what your partner wants, that the finger size is perfect and still surprise them? The answer is the proposal ring.

This is a temporary ring that can be used for the proposal. After the proposal that ring is altered so that the recipient can continue to wear it whilst the couple design that perfect ring together with me that will be very importantly made the correct finger size.

Of course as the couple design the ring with me they also get to do that all important planning for that wedding ring. This Christmas I will be on call for those that have purchased a proposal ring from me.

Earring drops - endless options

The clip hoops I make allow you to remove the drops and swap them out with other designs and many of my customers are buying drops to wear on clip hoops they have previously purchased from me.

Like almost everything I create you have the option to customise the design. The drops above are a modified version of some studs I make.

The young lady wanted other members of her family to be able to buy drops that could be worn on the same clip hoops. Being able to buy the drops separately and wear them on the same pair of clip hoops makes them far more affordable.

You can also see from the photos above that she decided to change the gemstone and gold colour.

The earrings above are a modified version of a pendant I make. The customer already had the clip hoops and liked a pendant design of mine.

As usual he decided to further customise his Christmas gift by selecting diamonds in the quality he desired as the gem to be used.

Those passionate Zenadth Kes customers :)

The ring above has gone this Christmas to one of my now longtime Zenadth Kes customers in the Northern Territory. This week I also saw two of my pieces purchased to be worn by Zenadth Kes Islanders now living in Borneo.

I only make this jewellery for the people of Zenadth Kes so it is by introduction and word of mouth that they come to me. To remove confusion about who can purchase that jewellery from me the section has been removed from the general website. They know where to find me :)

I have always promised the Zenadth Kes community that I will only make jewellery for the community as long as they want me to. If one person from the community asks me to stop I will do so no questions asked.

I would love to see someone from the community make fine jewellery celebrating their culture as I attempt to do. It is my intention that as soon as someone from the community starts making Zenadth Kes fine jewellery I will stop and the ghost will be gone with a smile.

I know that I am difficult to see almost all of the time nowadays. I am extremely grateful to all of my customers for respecting the time that other customers have purchased from me by making an appointment.

When you make an appointment you enable me to plan my days and for me to give each and everyone of you my best uninterrupted work as I create your pieces of jewellery. You also enable me to have a life outside of my workshop. For that I am extremely grateful.
