Buckle up this Christmas!

As well as encouraging you to all wear seatbelts while driving this holiday season I would also like to wish you all a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. On the theme of belts and buckles, one of my last jobs for 2013 was to make a black & white diamond buckle ring.

This ring started with a request to make a design emailed to me.  I set about recreating the design digitally and the decision was made to make the ring a lot more solid than the one pictured below left.

The taper at the bottom width of the band, which is usually done to reduce gold weight, was removed and the band made thicker to ensure a long life for this ring.

This ring was created using black and white diamonds set into 9ct palladium white gold. It is 12ml wide and weighs 15 grams.  Over half a carat of black diamonds are pave set into the band with .15 carats of white diamonds grain set into the buckle.

The final weeks of this year have been fully booked for some time now so it will be head down at the bench until Christmas from here. I would like to thank all my customers for their support during 2013.
