As I continue to process the photos from the old site over to the new I am coming across some that were taken nearly 15 years ago.  Some of them are such a low quality they are beyond saving. For example I would love to have better quality photos of this ring which I made for a close friend back in 2007.

These old photos highlight a couple of things for me. Firstly how much better my camera and lenses have become. Secondly I think I take better photos now and finally how small our screens were 15 years ago.

Smaller resolution photos were all we needed back then. In fact in those days of much slower internet connections the larger file size photos we need today would have taken forever to download. 

Conclusion from all this is that I am really old! Who remembers the sound of a dial up modem connecting and waiting for things to download overnight?
