Straight from the gem fields
December 25th 2010
Completely natural untreated gemstones are almost a thing of the past. Occasionally however I get to work to with some very beautiful gems that have only been altered by man with cutting and polishing.
Brian regularly visits the gem fields and returned recently from a trip with a beautiful five carat Yellow Beryl he had purchased. The stone was flawless and a lovely shade of yellow that I hope the photo to the right does justice.
The design that Brian chose suspends the gemstone so that it is almost entirely visible from the top as well as the sides. Running underneath the Beryl is a channel of pavee set diamonds that at certain angles sparkle through the gemstone.
Thank you Brian for your continued support.
