Yellow-spotted Honeteater
Olive brown body with a yellow ear patch. The bill is black with a yellow gape. Both sexes look similar.
Eyes are supposed to be brown but look bluish to me above. They are a common bird that lives in coastal rainforests, mangroves, wet forests and tropical gardens. They also can be found on Barrier Reef islands.
When feeding they are noisy and aggressive. They eat nectar, insects and fruit. Their favourite is native raspberry.
