Crow eater turned cane toad

I was not born a Queenslander but I have lived here for over 4 decades now. My home town is Adelaide and I spent my primary school years there.

My father was the primary school Principal of Mercedes College in Springfield, Adelaide.

The family moved to Townsville when my Father accepted the position of founding Principal at the Ryan Catholic Community School in 1979. Some years ago my parents moved from Townsville to Victoria, finally returning to Adelaide to retire.

Of my parents five children I am the only one that has remained in North Queensland.
